What is Angioma?

Angioma is a tumor, generally benign and it is consists of some small blood vessels. It happens normally on the skin area of the people and it is not too dangerous. It is treated only when bleeding get start. There are different types of Angioma.

  • Spider angioma
  • Cherry angioma
  • Strawberry hemangiomas
  • Venous angioma

Symptoms of Angioma

  • It is normally appears on the face and trunk.

  • Patient get skin lesion which is very small size, bright red and smooth.
  • Strawberry hemangiomas can appear anywhere in the body but it mostly appears on the face or chest.

What are the treatment of Angioma

  • Normally no need of treatment unless it bleed or start bothering patient.
  • It is treated with electrodesiccation which is done by electrical needle.
  • It can be treated by surgery or laser technic.

  • Liquid nitrogen therapy is also useful for treatment of angioma.
  • Cryotherapy is also useful for treatment of angioma.
